Born in Boston, raised in Miami and Ecuador, Jorge has worked in both the general and the Hispanic market for 20 years. He began his career as an art director at DDB Miami, then traveled across the country to California and New York where he led award-winning campaigns at McCann SF, FCB, and Grey.

After 10 years as an art director he switched to copywriting. A move that led him to win four Cannes Lions in 2016 for “The Facts Now” Tobacco Free Florida radio campaign last year.

As Executive Creative Director at Alma DDB, Jorge leads the McDonald’s account from Miami where he also teaches brainstorming techniques at the Miami Ad School, his alma mater.
