Andrès is a proven creative leader and a force for innovation at Energy BBDO, with over 15 years of experience helping some of the most successful brands in the world craft their narrative.

Andrès was named Chief Creative Officer at Energy BBDO in 2016 where he oversees the agency’s diverse range of clients including Wrigley, Pearle Vision, Kerrygold and Bayer in the US and globally. Andres has a fire in his belly for creating big, global brand ideas and bringing them to life as evocative stories. He has a passion for inspiring innovative consumer experiences and building lasting relationship.

Andrès is a highly awarded creative leader who has helped expand Energy’s focus on creating work that makes waves and gets noticed. Throughout his career, he has received top industry accolades including multiple Cannes Lions, Clios, Pencils, and Effies. Most recently, Andrès was the creative mastermind behind Extra Gum’s viral film “The Story of Sarah & Juan,” which became one of YouTube’s 5 Most Iconic Ads of 2015 and was awarded a Silver Lion in Entertainment and a Bronze in Cyber, among numerous other awards. Andrés took the stage at the 2016 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity to talk about the importance of craft and entertainment value in creating brand narratives that break through the clutter, and has served as a judge on international awards shows including Ciclope Latino, Addys and El Ojo de Iberoamérica.

Andrès started his career at Ruiz Nicoli in Spain, before joining BBDO Puerto Rico where he rose in the ranks from Art Director to General Creative Director. He then held leadership roles at two multi-cultural agencies; Zubi (Miami) and The Bravo Group (Chicago), prior to landing at Energy.
